
Biography
Dr. David E. O'Neill, MD, is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in Orthopedic Trauma. With a deep commitment to comprehensive patient care, Dr. O'Neill excels in the treatment of fractures, particularly those around joints such as the elbow, hip, knee, and ankle, as well as fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum. He utilizes both traditional and minimally invasive surgical approaches, including total hip and knee arthroplasty, especially in the context of trauma.
Dr. O'Neill completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UT Southwestern from 2018 to 2023, followed by an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic Institute from 2023 to 2024. His primary focus is on fracture care, with a particular interest in complex fractures around joints. He is proficient in treating pelvic and acetabular fractures and is also trained in joint replacement surgery for fractures around the hip. The conditions he treats include fractures of the clavicle, scapula, humerus, radius, and ulna; fractures of the sacrum, pelvis, and acetabulum; fractures of the femur, tibia, foot, and ankle; soft tissue injuries; total hip and knee arthroplasty; as well as non-union, infection, and osteomyelitis.
