Dr. Michael Mills is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive experience in treating a wide range of spinal conditions and performing complex surgical procedures. In his previous role, Dr. Mills served as a Staff Surgeon at Doctors Community Medical Center in Lanham, MD, where he made significant contributions to patient care and medical education.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mills has been a Clinical Instructor to Howard University Hospital Residents, playing a vital role in training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. His dedication to teaching ensures that emerging surgeons are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their field.
Dr. Mills chose medicine, particularly orthopedic spine surgery, because of his desire to solve problems and make a tangible difference in patients' lives. He finds orthopedics particularly rewarding, as it allows him to identify issues, implement solutions, and witness patients' recovery.
