Biography
W. Jeff Shi, M.D. is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon and sees patients at our Conyers location in Rockdale County. In addition to treating patients with general orthopedic conditions, Dr. Shi specializes in total joint replacement and reconstructive surgery with a focus on total joint arthroplasty. He is particularly interested in total and partial hip and knee replacements and robotic total joint replacements. Dr. Shi is trained in the most up to date and cutting-edge procedures to maximize results and minimize downtime for patients while focusing on the best patient outcome. Dr. Shi is a MAKO, Velys, and ROSA robotics certified operator and specializes in minimally invasive surgery and same day discharge. Dr. Shi looks forward to positively impacting his patients’ lives, helping his patients return to an active lifestyle, and being the upmost patient advocate.
Dr. Shi graduated summa cum laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia and completed his medical degree and residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.
