When BMI isn't used as measurement, obesity's health 'benefit' disappears. A new study claims to debunk the “obesity paradox,” which has held that obese people with heart failure are less likely to die than those who weigh less. Read more
Death toll from tainted eyedrops rises to three. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Tuesday that infections with Pseudomonas aeruginosa had led to two additional deaths. In all, 68 people have become infected in 16 states. Read more
