Biography
Dr. Cody Hightower provides orthopedic care to patients in our Douglasville location. He is a candidate member of both the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. His practice includes general orthopedics with a focus and specialty fellowship training in surgery of the hand, elbow, and shoulder. His specific areas of surgical interest are listed below.
Dr. Hightower is a Georgia native who graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in biology and then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina. He then completed an extra year of subspecialty fellowship training at the University of Alabama Birmingham where he worked at the Andrews Sports Medicine Institute.

Community Involvement
As a Carrollton native, Dr. Hightower is excited to serve his home community. Dr. Hightower currently serves as the team physician for the Bremen City School system.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, being active outdoors, playing golf, hunting, and riding dirt bikes.
