The conditions he treats include fractures of the clavicle, scapula, humerus, radius, and ulna; fractures of the sacrum, pelvis, and acetabulum; fractures of the femur, tibia, foot, and ankle; soft tissue injuries; total hip and knee arthroplasty; as well as non-union, infection, and osteomyelitis.
Dr. O'Neill emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, particularly in trauma settings. He collaborates with a diverse team, including emergency medical services, emergency department providers, general surgery traumatologists, orthopaedic traumatologists, medicine doctors, physical and occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care and maximize patient outcomes. His practice is heavily influenced by his training at UT Southwestern and the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, which have been instrumental in shaping his approach to orthopaedic trauma and joint reconstruction.
