Biography
Dr. Crosland is a renowned Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in total joint replacement, with a particular emphasis on the anterior approach for total hip replacement. With extensive expertise in general orthopedics, arthroscopic surgery, and fracture treatment, Dr. Crosland has dedicated his career to advancing patient care and surgical excellence. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1981. Following this, he completed an internship in orthopedic surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, from 1981 to 1982, and continued his residency in orthopedic surgery at the same institution from 1982 to 1986. Dr. Crosland holds the esteemed title of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Crosland's professional affiliations and community involvement are a testament to his commitment to the field of orthopedics. He has served as the past president of the Richmond County Medical Society and is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons, and the Georgia Orthopaedic Society. Currently, Dr. Crosland is with Piedmont Orthopedics OrthoAtlanta, where he will be seeing patients at the Evans and Aiken, SC offices.
